City of Chelsea Closures and Service Information for Memorial Day Holiday on Monday, May 29

The City of Chelsea announced the following updates for City services that will be in effect for Memorial Day this Monday, May 29:

  • There will be no street sweeping on Monday, May 29. 
  • Residential Parking Permit Enforcement will be suspended on Monday, May 29, at 12:00am. Enforcement will resume on Tuesday, May 30, at 12:00am.
  • City Hall, Senior Center, and Chelsea Public Library will be closed on Monday, May 29. Online services will remain available.
  • Trash pick-up will not occur on Monday, May 29. There will be a one-day delay all week.
  • The Covid-19 vaccination clinic will be open on Saturday, May 27
Online services will remain available. The City and its Department of Veteran Affairs will also host its annual Memorial Day event at 10:00 a.m. on the front lawn at City Hall. All are invited to attend. See below for more information.
