Excavating Contractors Registration Process
Effective May 1, 2007 all contractors wishing to excavate streets within the icty of Chelsea must be registered with the Department of Public Works.
If you wish to apply, please follow the steps below.

Excavating Contractors Registration Process

If you wish to apply, please follow the steps below.
- Fill out application (All pages are required).
- Submit Certificate of Liability Insurance and Bond in the amount of $10,000.
- Submit application by April 30th of each year.
- Apply yearly to keep registration open (to renew, click here) application is online https://epay.cityhallsystems.com/selection.
- $100 yearly fee.
- Have minimum of 3 municipality references.
