Children's Department

Children may have their own card when they enroll in school. A child with a library card may check out up to 10 books at a time.
The library offers story hours, Internet access, tours, advice on books to read, as well as educational and entertaining programs. The Children’s Department holds a wide assortment of fiction, folktale, picture books, nonfiction, audiovisual materials, reference materials, and public computers, as well as online resources.
Books, CDs, books on CD, books with CDs and magazines may be checked out for three weeks. Children’s movies are kept upstairs with the adult DVDs. Books needed for school assignments may be limited in order to assure fair use of materials for each student.
