Sergeant John Noftle
Sergeant John Noftle joined the Chelsea Police Department as a reserve officer on 6/1/96. He was appointed permanently on 11/30/99 and promoted to Sergeant on 3/28/05. He had attained a Masters Degree in Criminal Justice from Anna Maria College and a Bachelors Degree in Criminal Justice from the University of Lowell. Sergeant Noftle is currently assigned to the patrol division and has served as a Field Training Officer before being promoted to Sergeant. He has attended trainings on interviews and interrogations as well as bank robberies and probable cause.
