Police Investigating Suspicious Device

Wednesday – Chelsea Police Detectives are investigating two suspicious devices that were left in a wooded area behind a shopping plaza parking lot. Officers on scene called the Boston and Massachusetts State Police Bomb Squads who responded and took control of what was described as altered fireworks connected together by a fuse. Bomb officials stated if the device exploded it could have severely injured persons in the immediate vicinity. Chelsea Detectives are continuing the investigation.
