Mission:
The City Auditor provides the controllership and audit functions for the City and its departments and agencies. The Auditing Department protects the fiduciary interests of the City by ensuring that financial records are accurately maintained and preserved; supervising and controlling the expenditure of City funds; utilizing sound accounting practices; and performing all other auditing and accounting functions pursuant to the City Charter, City Ordinances and laws of the Commonwealth.
